 UEM&AstriaLearning

Since last November 14, 2018 the academic community of Eduardo Mondlane University through the joint work and collaboration between MoRENet and UEM teachers already has access to the Digital Library of AstriaLearning from its user database. This form of access allows users to access this library from any network, that is, everyone who is registered in the UEM user base will be able to access this resource regardless of their geographical location.

It is the first and oldest institution of higher education in Mozambique and also the largest university in the country, founded on August 21, 1962, which through MoRENet makes it possible for its students, teachers and researchers to access thousands of academic content and scientists in digital format made available by the American publisher Astria Library.

On September 24, 2018  MoRENet and Astria Learning signed the memorandum of understanding for the provision of a digital library for the Mozambican academic and scientific community. The platform is now available for use by students, faculty researchers and the entire academic community.

Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) has been linked to the MoRENet network since August 2018 through a 1Gbps dark fiber private link to its main campus and its eight schools throughout the country. MoRENet also has other similar links to other institutions in Maputo.

In addition to the UEM other institutions also linked to the MoRENet network, you already have access to this platform, namely: Faculty of Engineering of UEM, Universidade São Tomás de Moçambique, School of Nautical Sciences, Superior Institute of Management and Business, Instituto Superior Politécnico de Manica , Pedagogical University (Beira), INAM (Nacala).

Access to the digital library is made to this link.
